Helpers of God's
Precious Infants of Michigan will hold a training meeting for sidewalk counselors and
anyone interesting in learning about
prayer and counseling on the sidewalk at places of abortion. The meeting
will be Tuesday, May 8th, 7-9pm at St.
Lucy's (School behind church), St Claire Shores. St Lucy's is on Lakeshore
Drive between 8 and 9 Mile Roads. Fr. Matthew Hinks will give a short talk and
answer questions about praying to the angels in relation to sidewalk
counseling. Refreshments will be served. Bring a friend, no RSVP necessary. We
hope to see you. (Last chance to attend one of these meetings until August!)

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY at the
Michigan State Capitol Building in Lansing on Saturday, May 12th with Bishop Earl
Boyea. Events begin at 2:00 with Living Rosary at 2:30 with the Knights of
Columbus Color Corps. Everyone is welcome. This is not just a KC
event. This is not just a Lansing Diocese event. This is not just a
Catholic event. This is not just a Catholic American Citizen event.
It is truly a Christian Freedom rally and everyone is welcome including

FLS 2012 Walk for
Life
Family
Life Services Clinic and Pregnancy Counseling Center is holding its 22nd annual Walk
for Life on Sunday, May 20,, 2012 at Concordia University at Geddes and Earhart Roads. All
donations will benefit the Center. Registration begins at 1:00 pm with the
Walk at 1:30 pm. The Walk for Life is a family event with fun for the
kids and the whole family. Join us as an individual walker, join a
team or form a team for your church or family. Walkers who raise

Freedom Rallies – Round Two
On Friday, June 8th join
thousands from Washtenaw County, around Michigan and around our country for
Round Two of the HHS Mandate Battle at a Stand
Up For Religious Freedom rally. The
location of the Ann Arbor rally TBA. All rallies are scheduled for 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm local time. Among those
scheduled to speak in Ann Arbor are Al Kresta, Pastor Levon Yuille, Pastor Mike
Frison, Attorney Rob Muise, Dr. Janet Smith and Fr. Ed Fride.
These rallies are
an opportunity for Americans of all religions or no religion, to oppose the
attack on our basic freedoms, our first amendment rights. Currently in Michigan
there are rallies planned in Ann Arbor, Detroit, Flint, Grand Rapids, Howell,
Kalamazoo, Midland, Saginaw and Traverse City.
