Pictures & Video
From Eucharistic Holy Hour & Rose Procession
Held on October 15, 2016
Thank you Father James Conlon and Deacon Rich Badics!

A Eucharistic Holy Hour was Held: Begging God's Divine Mercy For the Wounds of Abortion! During this Year of Mercy, Father James Conlon, pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church extended an invitation to our neighbors in Washtenaw County and beyond, to join him on Saturday morning, October 15th for a Eucharistic Holy Hour: Begging God's Divine Mercy For the Wounds of Abortion. Father James delivered a very passionate, and beautifully compassionate reflection on God's Divine Mercy for those wounded by the sin of abortion, reminding us that our Heavenly Father wants to pour out His Divine Mercy upon all of His children, to heal our pain and to bless our nation. Father encouraged those who were praying and working to end abortion, to continue their efforts. The Holy Hour was rich with Eucharistic Adoration, scripture readings, a time for personal reflection, singing, intercessory prayer, the Litany of the Saints, Benediction and a blessing of red roses.

Benediction with Father James Conlon was beautiful; to view the video, click link:

A Rose Procession followed: Deacon Rich Badics, then lead a procession of a few dozen participants from St. Francis to Planned Parenthood on Professional Drive, a 1.3 mile journey, with prayer and singing. Each participant was offered a red rose, which they could place on the island in front of Planned Parenthood, upon our arrival. Deacon Rich concluded our procession in front of Planned Parenthood by leading the Ann Arbor Litany to End Abortion compiled by the 40 Days For LIFE Ann Arbor Team.

Something unplanned followed: Upon her arrival early in the afternoon, Sister Gail, finding the beautiful red roses laid out on the island, gathered up a few to offer to mothers and father upon their departure from Planned Parenthood, following their abortions. She shares, "It was a profound time of prayer, though I spoke to no one. Still, I know people saw me on my knees offering a rose to each car that passed by.  I can't help but believe that the witness of people with their heads bowed in silent prayer is very powerful to those who see it, whether they want it to be or not.  It is something they cannot forget and will come back to their minds again and again, drawing them to the compassionate Heart of Jesus. May the Lord bless you!"

DO NOT TOLERATE Slavery or Abortion - Vote Pro-Life Tuesday, Nov. 8th

View this email in your browser

PLEASE GET OUT AND VOTE PRO-LIFE
TOMORROW, TUESDAY, NOV. 8TH!

It is a national disgrace that slavery was ever legal
in the United States of America!
Someday, it will be looked upon as a national disgrace,
that abortion was ever legal, as well!

I love to believe, that if I had lived one hundred and fifty years ago, that I would have been apart of Harriet Tubman's Underground Railroad. That I would have been an advocate to repeal the dreadful Dred Scott decision by the United States Supreme Court, which declared that a Negro was only three fifths a man. The fact that a politician supported slavery would have disqualified him from holding office, in my eyes? Like most Americans today, I want to know what our great grandparents were thinking, who owned slaves or who were ok with others owning slaves? It is a national disgrace that slavery was ever legal in this country, and we are still trying to right that wrong.

Fifty years from now, how will we answer our grandchildren or great grandchildren, when they ask, "what were the voters thinking by allowing the killing of pre-born Americans by the millions, up until the time of the baby's birth"? How could they have allowed one human being to perform such atrocities on another human being? And then sell their hearts and eyeballs for a profit?

Please get out and vote pro-life tomorrow and encourage your family and friends to do the same.

For LIFE,
Sandie Weathers

Interfaith Jericho March & Chilly Chili Closing Celebration!

2:00 pm to 3:00 pm – Complete Lap 7 of Jericho March

3:00 pm to 4:00 pm  – Closing Celebration

Beginning & Ending Outside of Planned Parenthood

3100 Professional Dr in Ann Arbor

Invite Your Friends – Bring Your Family!

Please join your neighbors in Washtenaw County and Beyond, on Sunday, Nov. 6th for the 40 Days For Life Ann Arbor – Interfaith Jericho March & Chilly Chili Closing Celebration, which will begin with the completion of Lap 7 of our Seven Sunday Interfaith Jericho March at 2:00 pm, outside the Planned Parenthood abortion facility, 3100 Professional Drive in Ann Arbor. We will walk a one mile lap around the triangular block that surrounds Planned Parenthood, as we sing, pray, play instruments and carry family friendly signs. Plenty of signs will be available.

We will finish off our Closing Celebration with a short program featuring Iris Proctor, Executive Director of ArborWoman, immediately following the completion of Lap 7 of the Jericho March or at approximately 3:00 pm. We will be serving chili, hot dogs, dessert and beverages, so join us, for food, fun and fellowship.

Please bring your trumpets, tambourines, drums, shakers, noise makers, maracas, squeezebox, slide whistle, cymbals, clapper, rhythm sticks, triangle, bells, recorder, sand blocks, rattles, aluminum pie plate and wooden spoon etc and make a joyful noise unto the Lord. Everyone is invited to join us in this Interfaith Expression of Spiritual Warfare. Appropriate for the entire family.

Please note: Day one of our Seven Sunday Interfaith Jericho March began as we completed Lap 1 and was followed by our Kickoff Rally on Sunday, Sep. 25th, with nearly 75 participants. (Can you help us locate the gentleman who took the pictures that day?) Each Sunday since, we have completed another one mile lap.

As the seventh day of a Jericho March includes seven laps, beginning at 8:00 am, this Sunday, interested participants will depart from PP for lap one; at 9:00 am participants will depart for lap two; at 10:00 am for lap three; 11:00 am for lap four; 12:00 noon for lap five and 1:00 pm for lap six. Our seventh and final lap will begin our Closing Celebration at 2:00 pm.

We don't expect the physical walls of the building to crumble, but we do expect the spiritual walls to begin to crumble, so that Planned Parenthood's chambers will no longer be used to destroy children, so that workers and mothers and fathers and children and families and communities and our nation can be freed from their deadly influence.
