Enjoy these pictures from the Feb. 11th Kickoff Rally & Jericho March         Our Ann Arbor Kickoff Rally & Jericho March for the 2018 Lenten 40 Days For Life Campaign was filled with determination, enthusiasm, blessings and so much more, as we overcame the adversity of the winter storm and asked God to bless our efforts to close down the Planned Parent abortion facility on Professional Drive in Ann Arbor. Before leading the Jericho March participants in prayer, Rev Dave McCarty from Emmanuel Lutheran in Britton and Father Tom Wasilewski from Old St Patrick in Ann Arbor spoke words of encouragement to those in attendance, veteran prayer volunteers and those new to 40 DFL, at the Kickoff Rally. A first time attendee described the combined event as "POWERFUL". Matthew shared, "It was VERY POWERFUL with a Lutheran Pastor and a Catholic Priest leading the prayers to end abortion; with people helping other people who were stumbling in the deep snow; going the extra distance to find a path where the sidewalks were clear. It felt like the Way of The Cross. So glad that you didn't cancel the event due to the weather conditions"!  Jenny who is a regular participant along with her husband and toddler in the Jericho Marches shared, "We prayed the Jericho March prayers along with you at home because we were snowed in". Christen Pollo, Students For Life of Michigan Exe Director, who had to cancel her participation in our program, due to the road conditions from the winter storm, plans to join us for one of the upcoming laps of our Seven Sunday Interfaith Jericho March. If you missed our first lap, no worries! We have six more laps scheduled! As part of our Ann Arbor 40 Days For Life Lenten Campaign, we will hold a Seven Sunday Interfaith Jericho March, we will march around Planned Parenthood once for 6 Sundays and then walk 7 laps on the 7th Sunday. We pray for God to break down the spiritual walls in people's hearts in Planned Parenthood and for the evil of abortion to collapse. Like the Israelites we must be strong and courageous as God calls us to fight His battle against abortion. The Seven Sunday Interfaith Jericho March begins on Sunday, Feb. 11th and takes place for seven consecutive Sundays, ending on Palm Sunday, March 25th from 2 to 3 pm outside of Planned Parenthood, 3100 Professional Drive in Ann Arbor.   The Ann Arbor 40 Days For Life Lenten Campaign begins on Ash Wed. Announcing the Next SAFL Training and Fundraising Campaign! Would you like to learn how to help women in unplanned, crisis pregnancies in front of the abortion facility choose life? Sidewalk Advocates for Life offers a loving and prayerful sidewalk advocacy method that seeks to reach that woman's heart and fill her needs so she can confidently choose life! . The results of this ministry have been amazing!  Here in Washtenaw County, we have seen a dramatic decline in the number of abortions since the SAFL campaign began 3 years ago!   Our next training by Ann Arbor SAFL will be held on Saturday, February 24th from 10 AM to 3 PM, in Saline. Why a 7 Sunday Interfaith Jericho March

Our Brand New Jericho March Banner Has Been Delivered! (Thank you Sharon & Dennis!) Why a "Seven Sunday Interfaith Jericho March"?  In the first chapter of Joshua, God commands Joshua to cross the Jordan and take possession of the promised land, saying He would never leave or forsake the Israelites and for them to be "strong and courageous" in conquering the land. When they came to Jericho, a highly fortified city, God promised to deliver the city to the Israelites. They were commanded to march around the city once a day for 6 days without any war cries. On the 7th day they marched around the city 7 times and on the 7th lap they all shouted at the trumpet call as God had instructed, and the walls of the city collapsed. They were able to easily take the city. During our Seven Sunday Interfaith Jericho March, we will march around Planned Parenthood once for 6 Sundays and then walk 7 laps on the 7th Sunday. Meet Christen Pollo Exe Director of Students For Life of Michigan KICKOFF RALLY FEATURED SPEAKER and Jericho March Leader Sunday, Feb. 11th from 2:00 pm until 3:30 Outside of Planned Parenthood 3100 Professional Drive in Ann Arbor Christen Pollo is the Executive Director of Students for Life of Michigan, a statewide organization that recruits and equips college students. Through Students for Life of MI, Christen has requited thousands of students to join the pro-life movement and trained tens of thousands in pro-life advocacy. Her work has allowed her to become an expert at mobilizing the Millennial Generation and understanding how the pro-life movement can successfully utilize their strengths to better the cause. Daily, she sees the darkness of the college campus and the severity of the abortion-minded culture we are up against. Despite the darkness, Christen has great hope for the future because of the passion and dedication of young people in every corner of our state.
