On Wednesday, March 14th five pro-lifers, including your CPLS director will be sentenced for the Red Rose Rescue in which we participated on Dec. 2, 2018 at the Women's Center abortion center in West Bloomfield, MI. See Details below--
Judge Mark Barron denied us a defense of necessity on behalf of the unborn- and thus we were convicted of trespassing because we entered the abortion clinic, handed out red roses to the women scheduled for abortions, talked to them, offered them help as we sought to persuade them not to kill their babies and opted to remain with the unborn abut to be out to death.
We will sentenced March 14th at 1:30 pm and face
a maximum 90 day jail term and $500 fine.
Please will you send a letter to Judge Marc Barron. The letters must arrive by March 13th. Write the letter for the sake of justice for the unborn who have no voice, the victims of violence who were not allowed to speak in court! If there is leniency for us-- it is for THEM! The letter does not have to be long! Just a short--to the point--letter. Be polite--but implore this judge to do what is right. In the sentencing he has a real opportunity!

Citizens for a Pro-Life Society The 5 red Rose Rescuers- namely myself Monica Miller, Will Goodman, Patrice Woodworth, Matthew Connolly, and Robert "Doc" Kovaly were found guilty by a 6 person jury of trespassing and also interference with an officer (we practiced passive resistance) stemming from our Dec. 2, 2017 Red Rose Rescue at the Women's Center abortion center in West Bloomfield.  The Five Red Rose Rescuers who will face sentencing March 14 -from left to right:
Will Goodman, Patrice Woodworth, Monica Miller, Matthew Connolly and Robert Kolavy There is much I could report-- but let me just say this much now-- We had NO defense of necessity! Thus the babies were kept hidden from the jury-- or at least the very hostile--very pro-abortion prosecutor Larry Sherman and Judge Marc Barron tried their best to stifle our testimony-- Indeed, Judge Barron even made a ruling that during the trial no one could call the Women's Center an "abortion clinic"!! I took the stand as well as Will Goodman and we tried to tell the truth despite the judge's order to not talk about abortion and the babies--and the mothers we sought to help. Lots of "objection your Honor" and "sustained"s coming from the prosecutor Larry Sherman and Judge Barron!! Judge Barron and Sherman wanted the proceedings to be sanitized. The killing of the unborn was deemed irrelevant! See below the RRR FACEBOOK posting that gives some idea of what happened in court. To make matters worse-- Judge Barron added another post-conviction bond condition---- NOW GET THIS!!: The five defendants CANNOT go with 50 yards (150 feet) of ANY abortion clinic ENTRANCE in the entire United States of America FOR THE NEXT THREE WEEKS AT LEAST UNTIL THE MARCH 14TH SENTENCING!!!!! I am NOT kidding. This is unheard of!! We can only truly hope and pray that this ridiculous restriction on our freedom of assembly and speech be removed!! We DID NOT agree to the condition-- but it is imposed on us!! However-- let us rejoice to suffer something for the sake of Jesus Our Lord and the small outcast people who are united to HIM. We are undaunted by the conviction-- and have no fear to go forward!! Pray for the prosecutor, pray for the abortion providers in court who rejoiced at our conviction and this bond condition-- PRAY for Judge Barron that come March 14th he will see fit-- for the sake of the babies we tried to save and the mothers we tried to help that he will give us a lenient sentence OR NONE AT ALL!!!!!!! all glory to God-- Monica MANY MANY THANKS GO OUT TO OUR SUPER AMAZING ATTORNEY

Honorable Judge Marc Barron,
I am writing you today in search of justice for the unborn babies who have no voice, the victims of violence who were not allowed to speak in court. On Dec. 2, 2017, 5 Red Rose Rescuers – namely Monica Miller, Will Goodman, Patrice Woodworth, Matthew Connolly, and Robert Kovaly – courageously and honorably followed their consciences on behalf of innocent victims of violence at the Women's Center abortion clinic in West Bloomfield. They were subsequently found guilty of trespassing while practicing passive resistance to an officer for simply entering the abortion center to offer compassionate counseling and support to the mothers and offer an alternative to ending their child's life.
I humbly suggest to you that just because abortion is legal does not mean that it is moral, ethical, or right. The public outcry over the Dread Scott Decision, which denied a Black man his liberty, ultimately led to the Emancipation Proclamation as well as the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments to our beloved Constitution; the 5 Red Rose Rescuers were honorable and courageous in their peaceful outcry on behalf of innocent babies who have no voice. I respectfully implore you to show leniency to the 5 Red Rose Rescuers on their sentencing date on March 14.
