On Sunday, January 22nd place a lit candle on your porch around dusk and let it burn into the night as a silent witness to commemorate over 57 million babies' lives lost to abortion and the millions of lives forever changed by abortion in America. RTL Candles Kits will be available at The Bible Church, St Francis of Assisi, St Luke Lutheran, Cross and Resurrection, Scio Community Alliance, The Word of God, The Concert of Prayer on January 18th or by contacting Marilyn at (734) 973-2422 or mgeyer@provide.net.  (Don't have a candle kit? You are invited to A Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children Monday, January 23 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2250 E Stadium Blvd, Ann Arbor, MI 48104 Father James Conlon encourages people in the community to attend, saying, "it would be great to see some of the pro-life people at our Mass on Monday January 23… great witness to our school children about the sanctity of all human life."   On Monday, January 23, we invite you to join us for 9:15 am Mass as our community joins in a memorial procession of 44  candles representing the lives taken by abortion and their commitment to the protection of the unborn child.   This is part of the USCCB's call for A Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of the Unborn Children, as a particular day of prayer for the full restoration of the legal guarantee of the right to life, and of penance for violations to the dignity of the human person committed through acts of abortion.      Ann Arbor Updates It's Coming: The 2017 Spring 40 DFL Ann Arbor Campaign will begin on Ash Wed, Mar 1st and end on Palm Sun. April 9th. Please join us at one or more of our planning meetings, which will be held EACH Monday, from Jan. 23rd through Feb. 20th at 7:00 pm at Denny's, 3310 Washtenaw in Ann Arbor. We invite participants from all faith traditions to help in big & small ways. During the 40 DFL Spring Campaign, our community will be invited to join volunteers from around the world for 40 days of prayer and fasting for an end to abortion. Our neighbors from Washtenaw County and beyond will stand and peacefully pray during a 40-day prayer vigil from 7 AM to 7 PM, in the public right-of-way outside Planned Parenthood, 3100 Professional Dr in Ann Arbor.  We will spread the word through community outreach, saving babies from death and their mom and dads from pain and regret.
