I informed him that he was working for Planned Parenthood. He tried to dismiss his involvement by saying "I am doing business with the West Michigan Facilities Corporation." I told him that was just another name for PP--the limited liabilities company that owns all of PP's properties. The very next thing he said to me was "I am a devout Christian." I urged him in no uncertain terms that he had to pull out of his contract, that PP believes in abortion, promotes abortion and facilitates abortion! We even assured him that we would get him a pro bono attorney if pulling out resulted in litigation I have since tried to meet with him as work continues on the building! I have called him, left voice mail messages, and written to him twice--but Hiser has NOT pulled out! My further attempts to talk to him have met with silence. If he doesn't pull out his own conscience is compromised--and all those with whom Hiser is subcontracting, the electricians, the roofers, the plumbers! We will be sending a public message to Phoenix Contractors. Join us for this public protest to urge Phoenix to stop building this PP clinic of death and lies.
