The next planning meeting is THIS, Thursday, Jan. 5th!  at 7 PM at Denny's, 3310 Washtenaw.   The Spring Campaign begins on Ash Wed., March 1st and concludes on Palm Sunday, April 9th. People of ALL faith traditions are invited to help in big or small ways. Are you being called? Please join us! The next planning meeting is tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 5th at 7 PM at Denny's, 3310 Washtenaw with another meeting planned for Thurs. Jan. 12th at 7 pm at Denny's. Info? Our biggest needs are for a Prayer Vigil Coordinator, a Publicity Coordinator and an Events Coordinator. Perhaps you could help in a smaller way, by making a few phone calls each week, to make sure that all the hours are covered at the Prayer Vigil for a certain day of the week. Perhaps you could help in a small way, by planning the refreshments for the Closing Celebration. Or perhaps you could help make sure bulletin announcements are getting into your church bulletin and flyers are being posted on your church bulletin board? Some of What We Were Able to Accomplish  During the 2016 Fall Campaign!   The 2016 Fall 40 DFL Ann Arbor Fall Campaign Planning Team would like to thank the community that prayed and fasted at home, work and school, and the hundreds of participants, who came out to pray at the prayer vigil and be a public witness for mothers and fathers experiencing unplanned pregnancies and their unborn children. We were blessed to have students from Father Gabriel Richard High School in Ann Arbor join our campaign on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. We had nearly 225 people join us for our Seven Sundays Jericho Marches. A Eucharistic Holy Hour: Begging God's Mercy on the Wounds of Abortion was held at St. Francis of Assisi, followed by a Rose Procession to Planned Parenthood. We had FOUR SAVES that we know of and we covered all but five hours of our 480 hour prayer vigil at the Planned Parenthood on Professional Drive in Ann Arbor. Thanks to your generosity donations of over $1,600, we were also able to help TLC set up a new home for baby Addison and her three siblings which they moved into on December 1st. We were also able to provide winter clothing for 2 year old Angelo. The Ann Arbor campaign also hosted a very enthusiastic and very special Michigan Statewide Rally as apart of the 50 States in 40 Days Bus Tour! We reached over 900 Pro-life friends in January and in September regarding various annual pro-life events: The Concert of Prayer, The RTL Porch Candle Kit Displays, Life Chain, both the 40 DFL Ann Arbor Spring and Fall Campaigns and more...  We hosted the Annual Interfaith Way of the Cross on Good Friday at Planned Parenthood. On Dec. 1st TLC (SAVE from spring campaign) was able to move into a safe place to raise baby Addison and her three siblings with the help of the $1,600, which you contributed.  You helped provide winter clothing for 2 year old Angelo. Hundreds, if not thousands of participants in the community prayed and fasted at home, work and school for mothers and fathers experiencing unplanned pregnancies and their unborn children through the 40 Days For Life Ann Arbor Campaigns.  Hundreds participated in the prayer vigil out sided of Planned Parenthood at 3100 Professional Dr in Ann Arbor.  You covered all but three hours of the Spring Campaign's prayer vigil commitment of 480 hours and all but five hours of the Fall Campaign's commitment of 12 hours of daily prayer for 40 days. Together we had FOUR SAVES during the Fall Campaign, that we know of.  A Eucharistic Holy Hour: Begging God's Mercy on the Wounds of Abortion was held at St. Francis of Assisi followed by a Rose Procession to Planned Parenthood, as part of the Fall 40 DFL Ann Arbor Campaign.  Through MailChimp, we were able to help promote some of the activities of UM SFL, EMU SFL, SFLM, SAFL, FGRHS Pro-life Club, ArborWoman, FLS, Rachel's Vineyard, Rachel's Project, CPLS and Washtenaw County RTL. We also helped provide information related to election issues. HERE ARE EVEN MORE HIGH LIGHTS!!!!   Two participants witnessed a TURN AROUND on Saturday, April 23rd, as seventy two people from all over Washtenaw County and as far away as Lapeer, participated in the 1st Annual #ProtestPP National Day of Protest against Planned Parenthood at 3100 Professional Drive.     We had nearly 225 people join us during the 40 DFL Fall Campaign for our Seven Sundays Jericho Marches, which began on Sunday Sept. 25th in combination with our Kickoff Rally and ended on Sunday, November 6th in combination with our Closing Celebration. WOW!      An enthusiastic gathering of nearly seventy attendees, of all ages, greeted the UNITED 40 Days For Life Bus Tour at the Michigan STATEWIDE RALLY right here in Ann Arbor, with David Bereit, CEO and Steve Karlen, the Director of North American Campaigns and the rest of the Headquarters Team for on Saturday, October 8th. The Michigan Statewide Rally was as apart of the 50 States in 40 Days Bus Tour!   Sophomore students from Father Gabriel Richard High School in Ann Arbor prayed at Planned Parenthood on most Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the fall semester. Two of our SAVES during the Fall 2016 Campaign occurred on Thursday mornings when the students participated. Pictured are the Tuesday participants on a very cold day!   St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dexter displayed our 75 crosses, bringing awareness to the 75 children aborted each day in the State of Michigan, and the 75 moms and 75 dads often left living with a lifetime of regret and shame!   An Estimated 225 volunteers participated in our Annual Life Chain on Sunday, Oct 2nd at the corner of Washtenaw and Huron Parkway. Thanks to three generous volunteers, we were able to distribute three dozen signs to volunteers who even used them to shot it from the rooftops, that Every Life Matters.
