Because we believe in the sanctity of life, ArborVitae is eager to shine a light on this epidemic that is claiming so many of our children. Why? Because 1 of every 4 girls and 1 of every 6 boys you know will be sexually abused before they turn 18. Research shows that people who are sexually violated as children are far more likely to experience psychological problems often lasting into adulthood, including Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome, depression, suicide, substance abuse, teen pregnancy, school dropout and relationship problems. D2L understands that learning the facts about childhood sexual abuse helps prevent it.  If childhood sexual abuse can be prevented, it can be stopped.
