It is time to place your RTL Porch Candles Order for your Church and/or Pro-Life Group to distribute in January of 2014. Thousands of your Michigan neighbors will light their candle on the evening of Tuesday, January 21st and place it on their porch, so that it will burn through the night and into Wednesday, January 22nd, to commemorate the tragic loss of over fifty five million babies to abortion and the millions wounded by abortion in America.  The cost is $.88 each from RTL with your tax ID# plus shipping.  Call RTL in Grand Rapids at 616-532-2300 to place your order.

On Tuesday, Jan. 21st, place a lit candle on your porch around dust and let it burn into the night as a silent witness to commemorate over 57 million babies lives lost to and the millions of lives changed by abortion. If your church does not distribute the candles, contact Marilyn 734-973-2422 or mgeyer@provide.net. (By placing a candle in a jar into a paper bag, you can make your own porch candle display.)

On Wednesday evening, Jan. 22nd attend the Annual Christian Concert of Prayer for Unity and Life: “Cry to the Lord With One Voice” at 7:30 pm at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Please join us for an evening of praise & prayer for: Unity among Christians; Racial Reconciliation; Pro-Life Concerns; and Spreading the Gospel in our County. On Thursday, Jan. 23rdh you are invited to Pray at Planned Parenthood, 3100 Professional Dr in Ann Arbor, from  8:00 to 9:00 am with Pastor Yuille from The Bible Church, Pastor Mike Frison from Knox Presbyterian Church and Pastor Ted Jungkuntz, St Luke Lutheran Church.

On Friday, Feb. 7th you are invited to a Young Adult Pro Life Get Together at Gabriel Richard High School 6:30 pm for pizza, dynamic speaker Butch Murphy and  worship led by Gabriel Richard students. Topic: How to speak with your friends in a thoughtful, respectful, engaging, thought provoking manner. On Saturday, February 15th, the Respect Life Committee of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Ann Arbor is hosting a conference: "Christian Response to a Sexualized Culture". Featured speakers are: Daniel Mattson on the subject of "Living With Same Sex Attraction", Dr. Peter Kleponis on the subject of "Integrity Restored: Fighting Porn in our Culture and Winning", Prof. Janet Smith on the subject of "Why Premarital Sex Can Make You Miserable". Introduction by Al Kresta, President of Ave Maria Radio. Guest Panelist Peter Herbeck, Vice President of Renewal Ministries. The goal of this conference is to help all attendees formulate clear talking points when speaking with others on these topics.
