Seeking Support of Pro-Life Community

Dear Pro-life Friends,

Tomorrow evening I will be giving a talk on abortion on the University of Michigan's campus. The event is called "Understanding and Responding to 'My Body, My Choice'" As you already know, it is not only difficult to get people to attend pro-life events, but my university campus is most definitely hostile territory for me to be speaking at. I would appreciate the support if you can attend! Please spread the word, this is the perfect event to bring pro-choice people to as well.

Where: Rackham Graduate School 915 E Washington St. Ann Arbor
When: Saturday April 8th, 6-7:30pm
Free and open to the public

Warmly,
Rachel Crawford

President of Students for Life

The argument that abortion should be legal because of a woman's right to her own bodily autonomy is the strongest pro-choice argument, granting the claim that the unborn is a human person.
Pro-choice students have often responded positively to this talk, saying that it included the most interesting anti-abortion arguments they had heard before. It is helpful for both pro-choice and pro-life students to understand the depth and the arguments behind this slogan.

Pro-life advocates are often too quick to dismiss a bodily rights argument because they are focused on defending the claim of if the unborn is a human, even though it has already been granted. This can be a difficult mistake to identify if one is unfamiliar with the reasoning of bodily autonomy. Pro-life students are encouraged to attend this event so that they can better understand the nuances of this argument and hear the most persuasive case against the most advanced philosophical versions.

We will also discuss other pro-life arguments.

Speaker: Rachel Crawford, president of Students for Life at the University of Michigan.

Location: The ampitheater on the 4th floor of Rachkam Graduate School.

EARLIER THAT DAY: Come to the Diag from 9 AM to 4 PM to talk to a stranger about abortion.
