Employment Opportunity - Part Time RN, Nurse Manager
ArborVitae Women's Center is seeking a part-time Nurse Manager.
This position will be a job share opportunity with each person
working a total of 2 days OR 12 hours per week.
DUTIES: The ArborVitae Nurse Manager's duties include:
providing compassionate, life-affirming, evidence-based medical information to
clients; administering pregnancy tests; providing patient education; performing
limited ultrasounds (training provided), and training volunteer nurses.
Project development and project implementation are also required on an as
needed basis.
QUALIFICATIONS: Possesses a degree in Nursing and has an RN
license in good standing with the State of Michigan. Expresses a sincere
desire to reach out with compassion, assistance and truth to
abortion-vulnerable women. Affirms ArborVitae's policy to never refer or
advise a woman to obtain an abortion or use artificial birth control.
EXPERIENCE: Clinical experience in maternal/infant nursing
is preferred. Excellent leadership, management and communication skills are
required. Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
