251 communities across North America and around the world are ready to host the 40 Days For Life 2014 Spring Campaign beginning on Ash Wednesday, March 5^th and concluding on Palm Sunday, April 13^th. 40 Days For Life (40 DFL) is a focused pro-life campaign with a vision to access God’s power through prayer, fasting, and peaceful vigil to end abortion. Here in Ann Arbor, we will again hold a prayer vigil at the Planned Parenthood Facility, 3100 Professional Drive, just south of the intersection of Washtenaw and Huron Parkway.

The Ann Arbor 40 DFL Kickoff Rally will take place on Tuesday, March 4^th from 7:00pm until 9:00pm in the Christ The King Catholic Church Parish Center (Red Barn), 4000 Ave Maria Drive near Domino’s Farms. Please come and bring your friends, especially those who believe we must keep abortion legal for rape and incest victims.

Following her 18th birthday, keynote kickoff rally speaker, Travon Clifton learned that she was conceived in rape as told by her mother.  Initially, the news was emotionally devastating, but in the process of time by the grace of God through bible study, worship, prayer, forgiveness and service, she has found the courage to share her testimony and to encourage women to choose life, especially under difficult circumstances.

Rounding out the program are Pastor Ted Jungkuntz with St. Luke Lutheran, Deacon Larry Randolph with Christ the King Catholic Church, emcee Alan Wegienka from Our Lady of Good Counsel and music with Bryan Alfonso.
