Deadline Date Set for State-Wide NO Taxes For Abortion Insurance Petition Drive! Please keep collecting signatures through September 30, but send in petitions immediately as they are completed with one signature up to ten signatures. Petitions should be post-marked by Monday, September 30. We have reached the legal requirement of 258,088 signatures to initiate the Abortion Insurance Opt-Out legislation, but we are pushing for an additional 20 percent cushion, A 20 percent cushion allows for errors. In addition to preventing a challenge, additional signatures will send a strong message to our lawmakers, abortion is not health care and no citizen should be forced to pay for a procedure that destroys innocent human life. On Monday, September 23 join together with your neighbors for the Kickoff Rally for the Fall 2013 Ann Arbor 40 Days for Life Campaign at 7:00 p.m., at Cross and Resurrection Lutheran Church, 812 Ann Street, Ypsilanti MI  48197, on the campus of Eastern Michigan University. Pastor Bryan Schindel of Cross and Resurrection will welcome participants and offer the opening prayer. The rally will feature motivational talks by attorney Robert Muise, co-founder of the American Freedom Law Center http://www.americanfreedomlawcenter.org/ and Iris Proctor of ArborVitae Women’s Center. The rally will also feature a period of praise and worship, led by the Walraven family and Rick Weitzel. Participants can also browse through an informational fair of pro-life organizations and enjoy light refreshments.

The Ann Arbor 40 Days For Life Fall Campaign will run from Wednesday, Sept 25th thru Sunday Nov. 3rd. Local pro-life advocates are encouraged to visit the Ann Arbor campaign’s website, www.40daysforlife.com/annarbor, to sign up for hours of prayer in front of Planned Parenthood, 3100 Professional Drive, Ann Arbor. The 2013 Life Chain will take place on Respect Life Sunday, Oct. 6th from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm at the intersection of Washtenaw Ave. and Huron Parkway in Ann Arbor. On Thursday, October 10th please join us for the 2013 Annual Focus on Life Benefit Dinner, at The Polo Fields Golf and Country Club, located at 2955 Packard Road in Ypsilanti. Doors will open at 6:00 pm, and dinner begins at 7:00. Our Special Guest Speaker is Dr. Alveda King. She is the daughter of the late civil rights activist Rev. A.D. King and the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. Alveda King is a the Director of African-American Outreach for Priests for Life and Gospel of Life Ministries. She is also a voice for the Silent No More Awareness Campaign, sharing her testimony of two abortions, God's forgiveness and healing. On November 8th, 2013 Mother and Unborn Baby Care will be having its Annual Monte Carlo Night. It will be held at Farmington Hills Manor, located at 23666 Orchard Lake Road, Farmington Hills, MI. 48336. The evening will start at 6:30 P.M. and conclude by 10:00 P.M. The cost will be $60.00 P/P. 41st Annual March for Life “Red Eye” bus trip to Washington, DC.,
