It's
that time of year again for another 40 Days for Life campaign! It should
be another record-breaking turnout of cities from across the globe since the
National team has been very busy.
Our
campaign will again consist of 3 main components:
·
Pray and fast to end abortion in Ann
Arbor. As Jesus said, some evil spirits require prayer AND fasting to
have them sent away.
·
Conduct a Peaceful Prayer Vigil in front of the
Planned Parenthood abortion clinic - 3100 Professional Dr., Ann Arbor
·
Reach Out to the community to
spread the word about 40 DFL
Save the date for our 40 DFL Kick-off Rally!
·
Monday, September 23 at 7
to 9 PM
·
At Cross
and Resurrection Lutheran Church, 812 Ann St., Ypsilanti, MI (near EMU
campus)
·
Pastor Bryan Schindel will welcome and lead
us in prayer, the Walraven Family and friends will offer up Praise
and Worship, Robert Muise, co-founder of the
American Freedom Law Center and Iris Proctor of Arbor Vitae will be
the speakers.
·
Light
refreshments and local Pro-Life groups with informational
tables
Why have the prayer vigil at the Planned Parenthood
abortion clinic?
·
Planned
Parenthood commits 2300-3000 abortions in Ann Arbor every
year and our prayerful presence through 40 DFL has changed the minds of at
least 13 abortion-minded mothers.
·
PP teaches
their promiscuous sex-education to over 10,000
Washtenaw county students while chlamydia rates of infection continue to rise
in the county. PP's sex-education is clearly to blame.
·
PP
continues to NOT have a policy for underage sex abusers. While PP has
had hundreds of under 18 year old pregnant clients over the years, they have
never reported an under age sex abuse to the Ann Arbor Police going
back many years. Clearly, PP turns a blind eye to Michigan law.
·
PP
dispenses oral contraception but hides the fact this class of drugs is on
the IARC Class I carcinogen list where plutonium,
asbestos and radon reside.
·
A
recently discovered policy is truly appalling. While
"parenthood" is in its name, PP volunteers have admitted that even in
the middle of summer or winter, they have a policy of not allowing young
children in the waiting room on abortion day. Apparently, their
presence may effect their abortion business by changing the minds of
abortion-minded clients.
Please consider
attending the Kick-off Rally on Sept. 23 to diminish and then
eliminate the facts in the above bullet points! Spread the word to your
friends and family and invite them to join you. Also, use the attached
fliers to promote our campaign and Kick-off rally.
